Change of the management
André Schwerzmann, new CEO
The founder of ATP Hydraulik AG, Heinrich Schwerzmann, decided to hand over his position as managing director to his son André Schwerzmann.
Heinrich Schwerzmann had founded the company in 1973 in Küssnacht am Rigi, Switzerland. In these 44 years, he has decisively influenced the hydraulic industry far beyond the Swiss market. He will be continuing working in the sales market and in consulting the company within the supervisory board.
André Schwerzmann is named as his successor.
The company employs around 85 people. It designs and produces hydraulic systems and mechatronic solutions in combination with electrical controls, pneumatics and automation. The systems of ATP Hydraulik are used worldwide.
ATP Hydraulik is now being led in the second generation. The 42-year-old new CEO can look back on more than 20 years of service. Prior to the change, he was assigned as the marketing and sales manager, as well as the representative of the manager. André Schwerzmann has gained an extensive knowledge, a long-time experience in the management sector and the degree in mechanical engineering FH. He has been working at SUN Hydraulics, Sarasota, Florida, USA, for several months. Moreover, he is selected into the dealers' council board of EATON Corporation.
