Condition Monitoring from Bühler Technologies

In order to conserve resources and reduce operating costs, it is advisable to maximize the service life of oils in hydraulic and lubrication systems. This includes system-compatible filtration, which stabilizes the cleanliness class, as well as continuous monitoring of various parameters using sensors such as the CM terminal series from Bühler Technologies. These sensors continuously measure the temperature, conductivity and permittivity of the oil. Based on these values, the ageing condition of the oil can be determined and the remaining service life can be estimated. This allows efficiency to be increased and the service life of the oils to be extended.

CM Terminal

The combination block from Bühler Technologies provides an uncomplicated and customised solution for measuring several oil condition parameters.

Particle Monitor BPM

Continuous fluid monitoring for solid contaminants can extend the intervals between oil changes and thus significantly reduce maintenance costs. The BPM-100 optically detects particles and uses the principle of light shading to qualify the particles present in the respective fluid.

Metal Detector BMD

The BMD-100 is an advanced sensor based on inductive measuring systems and is used for the qualified classification of ferritic particles in the respective liquid. It enables the differentiation between fine and coarse ferromagnetic particles. Both analogue and digital output signals.

Condition Monitor BCM-LS

The BCM-LS uses capacitive measurements to determine the relative humidity within the medium. In addition to monitoring oil ageing, refreshment and mixing with other oils or foreign substances, it also measures the actual temperature. The integrated level measurement makes the BCM-LS a versatile.

Condition Monitor BCM-MS

The Bühler Condition Monitoring Multi Sensor (BCM-MS) was developed to continuously monitor the relative humidity, temperature, permittivity and conductivity in oil. This fluid monitoring enables both abrupt and gradual deterioration or changes in oil quality to be accurately detected, allowing oil change intervals to be extended or precisely planned.

Oil moisture sensor BCM-W

This sensor (BCM-W) enables the detection of moisture levels in oil before it reaches the point of saturation and releases water. It is available as a pure transmitter or with a local display and can be operated at pressures of up to 50 bar.
